The third volume of both Death Note (22MB) and Rurouni Kenshin (28MB).

For those of you that have actually been paying attention, I skipped uploading the next parts of X/1999 and xxxHolic because no one has been downloading them. It's a shame, really. Every single one of these manga are incredible, and if you're not reading them, you're really missing out. Big time.

But I know how it is; there's plenty of things that I can't download right now because of the bandwidth restrictions that my college has put on everyone's connections. But even if I'm not downloading something, it's certainly not for lack of interest. I'm still aching to get my hands on the Pet Shop of Horrors OVAs that [livejournal.com profile] aya_katsera uploaded ages ago. But the 200MB per day limit makes that impossible for me. [/fangirl angst]

But for those of you that are downloading, what do you think? I hope you're enjoying them as much as I did. ^.^

Manga:
Death Note: Volume Three
Rurouni Kenshin: Volume Three

No music uploads for today; maybe tomorrow. (Curse the bandwidth restrictions, and their Internet Nazi enforcers! ¡Viva la Upload Resistance!)

Oh noz...

The word on the street is that Death Note is already going to be licensed.

And by "word on the street", I mean that [livejournal.com profile] lumivalkea mentioned it in her journal. And if you haven't seen her lovely Death Note-themed layout, go take a look. (But if you haven't read the manga far enough to have seen L's face, then you might want to wait.) I think the simple style of her layout gives it a very clean look; it draws your eye to what's really important. I like it a lot.

The fifth episode has been subbed and put up on YouTube, by the way. And since the anime stays quite true to the manga, you all have my blessing to watch it there, even if you haven't read the manga yet.

So go on; have at it!

(I'd like to hear some of your thoughts once you've watched the first five episodes. To be honest, I'd like to hear you thoughts after the first episode. So few of my friends geek-out over the same things I do, so I'd like the chance to have a geeky little meeting-of-the-minds with someone on this...)

The weekend is finally here, and it's given me a bit of a reprieve. So I'm going to take advantage of it and upload a few things.

Here's the second volume of both Death Note (24MB) and Rurouni Kenshin (38MB).

Manga:
Death Note: Volume Two
Rurouni Kenshin: Volume Two

Music:
This is what I have of the House of Flying Daggers OST. The movie itself is like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, or Hero; basically, think Chinese martial-arts drama, and you'll get this movie. It doesn't matter if you've seen the movie or not, though; the music is just gorgeous. I weep for anyone who doesn't download these songs...
"Bamboo Forest"
"Beauty Song"
"Farewell"
"Lovers"
"No Way Out"
"Taking Her Hand"
"The Echo Game"

Hey, guys. Here, as promised, is some manga for you.

I've uploaded the first volume of both Death Note (24MB) and Rurouni Kenshin (39MB).

Manga:
Death Note: Volume One
Rurouni Kenshin: Volume One

More will follow either tomorrow or Friday.

It's kind of ironic, really. The majority of my anime has come from [livejournal.com profile] don_cristobal, but I know that he doesn't have Death Note even though he was the one who gave me Rurouni Kenshin; the majority of my manga has come from [livejournal.com profile] aya_katsera, who gave me Death Note but doesn't have Rurouni Kenshin yet. It's all just a little trade-off between them, really. I'm merely a vessel.

So huge thanks to both [livejournal.com profile] don_cristobal and [livejournal.com profile] aya_katsera for these. And I hope [livejournal.com profile] lumivalkea will enjoy the Rurouni Kenshin, too; and if she already has it, I have some music to offer up instead. I mooch off her so much, it's only fair; I've been dying to upload some stuff and pay her back.

Music: (Mostly slow, relaxing music this time.)
"Chanson d'Ami" by Zazie
Techno Mix from the Princess Mononoke OST
"Drunkard's Prayer" by Over The Rhine
"Arthur's Farewell" by Enaid
"Gueri de Toi" by Sarah Brightman

All the links will be up and working until no one downloads from them for a whole week. So act fast, people.
